Weekly Round-Up

Hello, contest junkies! Hope all's well with you, starting the new year right by sticking to your resolutions. January is one of my favorite months, as it signals a new beginning for us.

Anyway, here's a weekly round-up that sums up the contests posted here in the past week. Gadget maniacs have loads of promotions to join! First, there's a giveaway of a Sony Ericsson W850i mobile phone, which is a nifty gadget, plus a signed album by Gabriella Cilmi. She's a singer from Australia who's apparently a hit in the UK.

Then, there's the Discover the Dual Flash Game, allowing you to win one of three Canon FS11 camcorders. I like this contest, as it tests how quick your response time is, and I'm hoping to bag this cool device. Check it out if you haven't entered!

Microsoft's Zune media player made headlines for the wrong reasons, and here's a slogan-making contest that celebrates the Zune's unreliability. This fun contest will let you win a Nano version of the Zune's massive rival, the iPod. Don't forget to vote for my entry here:

Another iPod, this time a Shuffle, is being given away by Shannon Lilly of Infected By Bugs.

Bedtime Stories recently opened in the cinemas, and to mark its release, ClickTheCity is giving away a Bedtime Stories umbrella. Try joining this contest and you might have a good chance at winning the merchandise, since I've won several ClickTheCity promotions already!

For foodies, there are two contests worth joining: FHM's giveaway of UCC Vienna Cafe Gift Certificates and Bertrice Small's contest prize of Godiva Chocolates. Yum!

If you want to win cash, has a geography quiz that will let you win $100. The clues can be obscure and difficult, but it's worth taking a shot.

Finally, Circuit Magazine is giving away not one but FIVE pairs of Fly Shades, and is giving away not five but TWENTY sport shirts! How generous!

P.S: Comments and suggestions are welcome! Or if you're too shy about posting, drop me an email at pinoycontests (at) gmail (dot) com.

P.P.S: Special shout-out to one of my readers, jjMaki, for winning a 6-month subscription to K-Zone Magazine. Well done, jjMaki!
